  • How to Get Hired Using LinkedIn

    In this hands-on workshop, the students will learn how to use LinkedIn to significantly increase the chances of finding internships and getting hired. The students will be given simple steps to dramatically improve their LinkedIn profile. These updates can be made instantly during the workshop with the use of a cell phone. Strategies will be introduced and implemented to target, approach and follow-up with other professionals on LinkedIn. Each student will leave with an Improved LinkedIn Profile, New Connections, and be closer to Getting Hired.

    End Substance Abuse

    Some students abuse drug and alcohol in college regularly. These poor choices may have a negative lifelong effect. Brad will engage students on the deep issues in their day-to-day lives. These issues contribute to the “in-the-moment” decision to use drugs and alcohol. Factors such as curiosity, stress, and peer pressure get in the way of making good decisions. During the conclusion of the talk, Brad impresses on the students the need for each of them to make a decision – today – about what they will do when they are offered drugsin the future.
